Trinity College wins the 2007 Smarter than Smoking Cup

The Trinity combined year 8 and 9 football team have won the 2007 Smarter Than Smoking Cup. The STS Cup is a state-wide competition with over 180 participating schools.

Trinity defeated Hale School by 2 goals in a keenly contested Grand Final watched by many of the boys family and friends. The game was played as the curtain raiser before the West Coast/Essendon game at Subiaco oval last Saturday and the team stayed on to watch the AFL main game together afterwards.

The entire squad is to be congratulated on their dedication and commitment to winning the Cup. Some of the best players were: Liam Mondy; Justin Joyce; Jordan Carlino; Joshua Evans; Jeroide Shadford and Nick Smith.
