The Principal and student leaders with His Excellency Lieutenant General John Sanderson AC Governor of Western Australia.
His Excellency Lieutenant General John Sanderson AC, Governor of Western Australia visited the College on Tuesday 3rd May.
Following a morning tea reception with members of the student leadership group, senior staff and our Board Chair, Mrs Leanne O'Dea, His Excellency toured the College and met with a number of Trinity staff.
The purpose of the Vice Regal visit was our Academic Assembly. The College has set as a theme this year, "enriching the curriculum." The Governor's presence highlighted the value the College gives to academic excellence.
Following a stirring entrance where his Excellency was piped in by senior pipers, Joe Ryan and David Gomboc, the College heard from Swing Band 1 with their upbeat version of Macarthur Park as arranged and conducted by Mr Kevin Fenner.
His Excellency then spoke to the College community about striving to make Western Australia the creative state. His passion for the arts in Western Australia was obvious.
The Governor presented Academic Achievement Certificates to the following students:
