Middle School (Years 7 - 9)
The College places significant emphasis on developing programs to meet the needs of Years 7, 8 and 9 boys. The appointments of Middle School Coordinators and a Head of Middle School in 2005 has resulted in an excellent standard of Pastoral and Academic care being afforded to our students.
Courses actively engage students in constructing knowledge, encourage collaborative projects and allow a degree of self paced independent learning.
The availability of a modern Design and Technology Centre and up-to-date Information Technology facilities enables Trinity to provide core programs for Middle School students in these areas. The Information Technology Outcomes are integrated within the English, Mathematics, Science and Society and Environment courses.
Year 7 Courses
The compulsory subjects offered at Year 7 level are:

Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Studies of Society and Environment, Physical Education, Sport, Art, Italian and Music
All year 7 Students complete the following short courses:

Aquatics, Health, Information Literacy, Materials Technology, Systems and Design, Outdoor Education.
Year 8 Courses
The compulsory subjects offered at Year 8 level are:

Religious Education, English, English Enrichment, Mathematics, Mathematics Enrichment, Science, Studies of Society and Environment, Design & Technology, Physical Education and Health.
The elective subjects offered at Year 8 level are:

Aquatics, Art, Astronomy, Creative Writing, Dance, Fitness and Health, Graphics Communication, Mathematics: Problem Solving, Outdoor Education, Speech and Drama, Music and Italian.
Students who study Class Music or Italian will study a reduced number of electives.
