Scholarships and Bursaries for 2011.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Available to boys entering Year 7
and providing a 50% remission of tuition fees.
There are one or two scholarships available based
on performance in the Trinity Scholarship Examination. Note that these scholarships are only part of a remission of fees.
Examination Date: Saturday 16 May 2011

ASTRONOMY/SPACE STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP
For a Year 11 student in 2011 who has a
strong interest in Astronomy, and a sound
background in Mathematics and Physics.
This scholarship is only open to boys not currently attending Trinity College.

EDMUND RICE BURSARIES
Available to boys entering Year 7 in 2011
whose family circumstances would otherwise
make it difficult for them to attend the College.
This scholarship is only available to boys not currently attending Trinity College.

INDIGENOUS BURSARIES
Available to boys of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background entering Year 7, who are able to demonstrate financial need and would benefit from a Trinity education. This scholarship is only available to boys not currently attending Trinity College.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Available to boys entering the College in
Years 7 or Year 11 in 2011 who are talented
instrumentalists and/or vocalists.
Applications for this scholarship are welcomed from current students as well as external applicants.

ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL CHOIR
Principally for students who have already enrolled for Year 4 or 5 in 2011 who are able and willing to train as choristers.

PIPE ORGAN SCHOLARSHIP
A 4th grade AMEB standard on piano is required.
This scholarship is only open to boys not currently attending Trinity College.

TOBA BURSARIES
Available to boys entering Year 7 in 2011
who are the sons of Old Boys and who would
otherwise be unable to attend Trinity College
for financial reasons.

Auditions for Music and St Mary’s Cathedral Choir
Scholarships will be held at the College
by arrangement with the Director of Music.
