MUSIC TEACHER
(Maternity leave replacement, commencing Term 4, 2008)
&
(Maternity leave replacement, 2009)

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated secondary school music teacher who will work as a team member in a thriving music department. The position will include the teaching of year 7 students. Piano skills are essential and the ability to competently lead instrumental and/or vocal ensembles is desirable. Knowledge of computer based software such as Sibelius and their applications in the classroom is important.

DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TEACHER
(Temporary, Term 4, 2008)
&
(Ongoing, commencing Term 1, 2009)

The Treacy Technology Centre commenced operation in 2001 and is innovatively designed allowing students to learn a wide range of Design and Technology skills. It is a well equipped facility and considered to be one of the leading school Technology Centres in WA. There are currently five full time teachers in the department as well as a full time technician. All staff work as a team developing innovative and challenging study programs.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator who is able to demonstrate an ability to teach in a modern Technology Centre in the areas of Graphics, Engineering Systems and Materials at a middle and senior school level. Our focus is on student centred learning using a problem-solving approach and candidates will be expected to be proficient in this area. Applicants should possess excellent IT skills, and experience in using Autocad and Corel would be advantageous.

ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(full-time, LSL replacement)

The successful applicant will work alongside and support academic staff with administrative tasks; especially word processing support. Applicants for the above position must be strongly team oriented and committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the College and its co-curricular activities.

It is hoped that the successful applicant will be able to commence the role by the 1 September 2008. The conclusion of the contract will be at the end of term 4, 2008.

Employment is conditional upon the applicant receiving a satisfactory Crimtrac Criminal History Record Check and a Working with Children clearance.

RECEPTIONIST/SECRETARY
(full-time, maternity leave replacement)

The successful applicant will respond to the switchboard and be the first point of contact for the College. They will also help out the Bursar and Vice Principal with administrative tasks. Applicants for the above position must be strongly team oriented and committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the College and its co-curricular activities.

It is hoped that the successful applicant will be able to commence the role by 25 August 2008. The conclusion of the contract will be 30 October 2009.

Employment is conditional upon the applicant receiving a satisfactory Crimtrac Criminal History Record Check and a Working with Children clearance.
