Battery operated car? Well yes, but one of the utmost excellence. On Friday, 22 May a group of Trinity Year 12 Physics students were visited by Mr Naundorf with his Tesla roadster. Students were able to see how the principles of electric motors they had studied in class were applied with some brilliant engineering. On Friday, 24 April, Trinity College held an ANZAC Service in Centenary Park. The whole school attended to honour the ANZAC troops in this, their Centenary year. Headmaster Mr Banks, Head Prefect Alex Ishida-Livings and Junior School Head Boy Benjamin Tucker laid wreaths at the ANZAC memorial. Centenary Park was a sea of students today as they waited to greet members of the Royal Australian Navy 723 Squadron, as they flew in by helicopter to promote the benefits of Navy life. The Grand Prix and Nationals with Australian Canoeing are not for the faint hearted but Trinity student Luke Morton (11.3) made the Australian Junior Under 18 Team when he was only 15, after coming 2nd in the Mens K1 1000 U18 and winning the Mens K2 1000 in 3:23.73. Luke also blitzed the Under 16 category with a 1st in the Mens Under 16 K1 200 and the Mens K2 500 with a 2nd place in the Mens K2 200....
