Michael Storer (12.5) claimed the bronze medal in the junior men's time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain. Michael, the reigning under 19 time trial Oceania champion secured Australia's fourth medal of the Championships with a podium appearance behind gold and silver medallists German Lennard Kamna and Adrien Costa (USA). Zeke Okely (10.1) was recently announced as one of ten finalists in the West Australian newspaper's Young Travel Writer's competition. This qualified Zeke to attend a workshop on Friday, June 13 with Stephen Scourfield, travel editor for the West and to receive a Canon digital camera.
