During Tuesday’s Academic Assembly, the head of each year group presented Academic Achievement Awards to students in Years 7-12 who have achieved outstanding Semester One reports. Merit awards were also distributed to students who excelled in their elective subjects. Congratulations to all the students who received these awards!
In his first assembly as Headmaster, Mr Kenny reflected on the words in the school song, In Nomine Domini, specifically the line, “As we proclaim our valour and our pride in Trinity”. Mr Kenny acknowledged that when students begin their Trinity education it is quite normal for them to think about what makes them proud of the school. However, as students progress through the College, the perspective changes, and students should start to consider their contribution to the College and the ways in which they have made the school proud of them. Mr Kenny pointed out that although the school year is half way through, there is still time for students to give their best effort and make the College proud.
