The 2019 Year 12 97 Club members

On Tuesday, 11 February, the entire College came together for the Welcome Assembly. This assembly served a few different purposes; first and foremost to welcome all students to the College for the 2020 school year, secondly to recognise students who have performed exceptionally well in last year’s WACE exams, thirdly to acknowledge and congratulate our Summer Sport First Team Captains, and lastly to hear from students who took part in an Italian exchange over the summer holiday.

One of the highlights of this assembly was the special welcome given to all of the new Year 4 and Year 7 students. In a Trinity tradition that began a few years ago, these students were piped into the Sports Centre to take part in their first College assembly.

Academic High Achievers

Following Mr O’Neill’s welcome address, the 2019 Dux of the College, Samuel Pesce lit the torch of learning, and Mr Hince acknowledged our academic high achievers from 2019. Samuel then addressed the study body, encouraging them to set study plans for their senior years at school. He attributed much of his academic success to hard work and discipline and wished all students the best of luck in their remaining years at the College.
