2026 TC Family Night Under the Stars

Students and their families are invited to the TC Family Night Under the Stars!
We have an amazing astronomy program at Trinity College, and a great observatory that our students can use to take images of the deep sky and learn about the universe we live in. On Thursday 23 April, we will host volunteers from the Perth Observatory who will bring telescopes to show us close-up views of planets and stars within our solar system.
Families are to please BYO picnic dinner and associated picnic essentials! Families can arrive at their leisure/convenience from 6.30pm, to sit out on Mann Oval and enjoy a picnic while the sun goes down. The viewing will begin at approximately 7.30pm when it is dark enough.

- 6.30pm - 7.30pm: casual picnic (arrive at your leisure/convenience)
- 7.30pm - 9.30pm: astronomy demonstrations and viewings
- Venue: Mann Oval, Trinity College
- Refreshments: BYO picnic dinner, and/or access the ice cream/snacks van
- Cost: $5 per person (excl booking fee)
