Head of Junior School

Full-time position - commencing 1 January 2025

Trinity College is seeking a Head of Junior School (Year 4 - 6) 

The successful applicant will be a member of the College Leadership team and will share the responsibility for the effective delivery of a quality Catholic Education for our junior school students. 

This position has responsibility for all aspects of student welfare, child safety practices, pastoral initiatives, curriculum planning and intervention strategies for all students from Year 4-6. 

Outstanding subject knowledge and a willingness to be involved in the co-curricular life of the College are expected.

Applicants must have a minimum of ten (10) years teaching experience and have completed the requirements for Accreditation to Lead in a Catholic School and have the relevant teaching qualifications that includes post graduate qualifications in Education, Leadership, Religious Education or Theology.

Drama Teacher

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator willing to be part of a strong professional team who is able to teach Drama in Year 7 to 12.

This is a Fulltime, Fixed Term position commencing at the beginning of Term 4, 7 October 2024 and concluding 31 December 2025.

Aviation Teacher

Full time, Ongoing position - commencing 1 January 2025

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator willing to be part of a strong professional team who is able to teach Aviation.

A strong knowledge of Aviation principles, technologies and safety is essential, along with an Australian Pilot's qualification or working towards the Pilot's licence.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide practical instruction in flight simulation software and teach a variety of Aviation related subjects including aerodynamics, flight theory and navigation.

Digital Technologies Teacher

Full time, Ongoing position - commencing 1 January 2025

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator willing to be part of a strong professional team who is able to teach Digital Technologies and Applied Information Technology.  

The ability to teach a range of Digital Technology subject areas, which may include coding, game design, web design and Computer Science is essential. 

A knowledge and understanding of coding with Python, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Animater is preferred, along with experience in game design.

Education Assistant – Special Needs

Full time Ongoing position- to commence 1 January 2025

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Special Needs Education Assistant at Trinity College. 

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV Education Assistant – Special Needs from a recognised educational institution and have demonstrated experience in working with students with high support needs. 

Experience with using Augmentative Communication Tools, hoists and assisting students with personal care is essential.

Working with teaching and other support staff, the Education Assistant supports our teaching staff to provide for the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of students with specific learning needs. You will also assist with the implementation of special programs for specific curriculum needs.
