Drama Teacher
Trinity College is seeking a Full-time Ongoing Drama Teacher.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator willing to be part of a strong professional team who is able to teach Drama in Year 7 to 12 including ATAR classes.
Outstanding subject knowledge and willingness to be involved in the co-curricular life of the College are expected.
As the Drama Teacher at Trinity College, you will inspire students to develop their creativity, confidence, and performance skills through engaging and contemporary learning experiences. Teaching Drama across Years 7–12, including ATAR, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning that supports improved student outcomes while fostering a passion for the performing arts.
Working collaboratively within the Learning Area, you will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and the ongoing development of innovative programs that are responsive to curriculum requirements and informed by student achievement data. Through effective classroom practice, a commitment to continuous improvement, and active participation in learning area and whole-school initiatives, you will contribute to the College's vision for learning and educational excellence.
As a member of the Trinity College community, you will uphold the Catholic philosophy and Edmund Rice charism of the College, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and care. You will foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment, provide pastoral care as a Pastoral Care Group (PCG) Teacher, and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Working closely with the Head of Learning Area, College Leadership Team, Teacher Assistants, and the wider College community, you will support the College's Vision, Mission, and values of Faith, Excellence, Service, Community, and Stewardship while contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria
- A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the Trinity College Community.
- Have a minimum four (4) years’ Tertiary qualification, which includes appropriate educational qualifications
- Be currently and fully registered with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
- Hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement, a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
