Scholarships & Bursaries

The deadline for applications for 2018 scholarships has passed. Scholarship applications for the 2019 school year will be open in February 2018.

Academic Scholarship

There are one or two scholarships available to boys entering Year 7 which provide a 50% remission of tuition fees. This scholarship is based on performance in the Trinity Scholarship Examination.

Astronomy/Space Science Scholarship

For a Year 11 student who has a strong interest in Astronomy, and a sound background in Mathematics and Physics.

Indigenous Bursary

Available to boys of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background entering Year 7, who are able to demonstrate financial need and would benefit from a Trinity education.

Refugee Bursary

Available to boys of Refugee background entering Year 7, who are able to demonstrate financial need and would benefit from a Trinity education.

Music Scholarships Including A Pipe Organ Scholarship

Available to boys entering the College in Years 7 through 11 who are talented instrumentalists and/or vocalists.

Applications for these scholarships are welcomed from current students as well as external applicants. A 4th grade AMEB standard on piano is required for students applying for the Pipe Organ Scholarship. Auditions for Music Scholarships will be held at the College by arrangement with the Director of Music.

St Mary’s Cathedral Choir Scholarship

Principally for students who have already enrolled for Years 4 or 5 who are able and willing to train as choristers.
