Friends of Groups
Parental involvement is encouraged at Trinity and one of the ways that parents enjoy being involved in their son’s education is by joining one of our Friends of Groups.
There are a variety of sporting and cultural Friends of Groups and parents can assist through these groups with fundraising for facilities and tours, helping at sausage sizzles and providing supper at events, or perhaps designing a new strip for their sons sporting code, the opportunities are endless.
Our Friends of Music actively fundraised for two years to raise money for a Fazioli Grand Piano for students. The funds raised, along with donations from parents saw the arrival of the Fazioli, a high-end handmade piano all the way from Italy. This worthwhile contribution to the Music Program has given Trinity students the unique opportunity of rehearsing on a piano that is revered in the music world.
Our Friends of Rowing are another very active group and with the early morning rowing schedule man the rowing kitchen and provide a delicious cooked breakfast when the boys return to shore. Fundraising, providing morning tea at the Trinity Rowing Regatta, cooking on camps, maintaining boats and just plain having fun are all part of this very active group.
As you can see the Friends of Groups offer plenty of opportunity for involvement and fun. We hope that you consider joining one soon.
