Disclaimer: This blog about wellness does not include any kale smoothie recipes, “expert’’ exercise or diet advice, or even a picture of me with my arms outstretched to the sky telling you how amazingly #blessed I am. If you want that I suggest you go to your teenage daughter’s Instagram feed. Instead, I’m discussing jam jars and how I use these to try to achieve wellness in my family of four kids while working full-time....

Describe your Trinity College experience.... Trinity has certainly given me more than I have given it. Not only are my four boys, Ethan, Luca, Zach and Levi getting a well-rounded and diverse education, but through the honour of being the Trinity Auxiliary President, I have made some wonderful friendships. Taking on this role and thinking that I would just be making tea and coffee, I underestimated how important it was to become to me....

Sitting down to watch the first episode of the new SBS drama 'The Hunting', I was looking forward to seeing how issues such as sexting, revenge porn, and sexuality were going to be portrayed. Whilst some of the adult characters and storylines have been embellished for entertainment purposes, what I loved about the episode was how they captured the emotions and behaviour of the adolescents....

How long have you been teaching at Trinity College?. I’ve been teaching at Trinity College for 32 years. When I started at Trinity in 1987, I told my partner with some disbelief that there were teachers at Trinity who had been there for over 10 years, now she takes great delight in reminding me how long I’ve been here. It is a bit of a worry that I am now teaching the sons of students who I taught when I started at Trinity....

I remember when my parents received the letter to say I was accepted into Year 8 at Trinity. As a family, we didn’t seriously entertain any other high school options, so I was both excited and relieved. My introduction to the College was one of awe, it was so much bigger than my primary school and there were so many more students.  Having the Christian Brothers’ as teachers made a positive impression on me....
