Mr Kenny is no stranger to Trinity College! He returns to Trinity after having served as Deputy Principal of the College from 2005-2010. He will be serving as the Acting Headmaster of the College for Semester Two of 2018. During his interview, Mr Bill Cooper, who teaches Aviation at Trinity, discussed how virtual reality allows students to become completely immersed in a subject. In 2017, Trinity expanded their STEM offerings by creating an Aviation course for Year 11 students. This course was the first at the College to incorporate VR into the classroom, providing a safe testing environment for the students and allowing them flight time and necessary simulation experience in a classroom setting. The Aviation course was so popular with students that in 2018 the College decided to offer Aviation as an ATAR subject....

First thing this morning Mr Banks and the Chair of the Trinity College Parent Council, Mr Leon Jennings ('78) met to congratulate Julie Culverwell, the winner of the 2018 Parent Council Tuition Fee Raffle. Julie was presented with a cheque in the amount of $14,560.00, to cover her son's tuition fees for 2018. This year over 500 tickets were sold, and all of the money raised will go towards improvements to McCabe Court....

After winning the State Schools Championships, the Trinity top team qualified for the Open Honours Division. Only schools who have come first or second are allowed to compete in this division and is largely occupied by schools with specialist volleyball programmes. The game schedule was gruelling with two untimed games each day. After the first two days we managed to qualify for the medal rounds by being in the top 6 teams of the competition....

In 2017, 131 Trinity students were awarded an ATAR, with 53 of those students (40% of our ATAR candidates) achieving an ATAR of 90 or higher, which places them in the top 10% of the nation.
